Leeds United have reportedly been told to pay £400,000 in compensation to land Reading academy manager Eamonn Dolan.
The Whites are currently without a manager following the departure of Brian McDermott last month.
Reports emerged earlier this week suggesting that Leeds owner Massimo Cellino had picked out Dolan to take over at Elland Road, which Royals director of football Nick Hammond was quick to play down.
However, a report in the Daily Star claims that Reading will consider letting Dolan leave the club should the compensation demand be met.
Garry McAllister and Dave Hockaday have also been linked with the vacant managerial position at Leeds.
