Mauro Icardi's agent and wife Wanda Nara has insisted that the Argentine wants to return to Inter Milan once his loan spell at Paris Saint-Germain ends.
New Inter manager Antonio Conte made it clear to Icardi over the summer that he was not part of his plans at San Siro this season.
Following a protracted saga, Icardi finally secured a loan move to PSG as the European transfer deadline approached.
When asked about whether Icardi saw himself playing for Inter again, Nara told Corriere della Sera: "I think so. I talked to him, they'd assured him that they were strengthening the team regardless. Football is a business, (Inter CEO Giuseppe) Marotta makes the decisions and has to look after the accounts."
Inter's acquisition of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United has jeopardised the amount of game time Icardi is likely to receive this season.
Icardi, who was top scorer for the club last term, has maintained throughout the summer that his preference was to remain at Inter.
