Royston Drenthe has emerged as a target for Inter Milan, according to reports.
The 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Everton, is currently a free agent following his release from Real Madrid earlier this month.
The Netherlands international was reportedly axed by Toffees manager David Moyes after repeatedly breaching club rules.
According Calciomercatonews.com, the Nerazzurri are now preparing a contract offer for the left-sided midfielder, who has a growing reputation as being hard to manage.
Drenthe moved to Real Madrid from Feyenoord in 2007.
