Claudio Ranieri: 'I will not resign'

Inter Milan boss Claudio Ranieri claims that he will not resign following his side's fifth consecutive Serie A defeat.

Inter Milan coach Claudio Ranieri has defiantly claimed that he will not resign after his side's 1-0 defeat at Napoli.

Ezequiel Lavezzi's goal condemned the Nerazzuri to their fifth consecutive Serie A loss, leaving the club seventh in the table.

When asked how president Massimo Moratti would react to the situation, Ranieri told Sky Sport Italia: "I do not know - I cannot answer for the president, but I will not resign because I believe in these lads and this team."

The 60-year-old signed a two-year-deal at the San Siro in September 2011.
