Claudio Ranieri will take his Inter Milan side to France tomorrow evening on a run of five defeats from their last six matches.
The Italian coach's main selection headache surrounds Dutch international Wesley Sneijder. Ranieri recently admitted that he may decide to drop Sneijder if he decides to play two strikers.
Ranieri may also be able to call upon Argentine defender Walter Samuel, who has recovered from a thigh injury.
Marseille coach Didier Deschamps will have to make do without the services of striker Loic Remy. The French striker has suffered a hamstring injury and has been rated doubtful for the return leg at the San Siro.
The two teams last met in 2004, with Marseille coming out as winners 2-0.
