Preview: Huddersfield Town vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole previews Huddersfield Town's Championship clash against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Huddersfield Town take on Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship clash at the John Smith's Stadium this weekend.

The home side currently sit in the playoff places in the league table with a two-point cushion, while Brighton can put pressure on the top six if they snatch maximum points this Saturday.

Simon Grayson's team head into the contest on the back of a 1-0 win over Barnsley, while Gus Poyet's men were forced to settle for a point in a 3-3 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

Huddersfield are expected to start weekend goalscorer Jermaine Beckford alongside Simon Church and Lee Novak, while Brighton are likely to opt for a forward partnership of David Lopez and Craig Mackhail-Smith.

Recent form:

Huddersfield: LLWDW

Brighton: LDDWD

Possible lineups:

Huddersfield: Smithies; Hunt, Clarke, Lynch, Dixon; Clayton, Southern, Scannell; Novak, Beckford, Church

Brighton: Kuszczak; Saltor, Greer, Dunk, Bridge; Crofts, Bridcutt, Dobbie, Orlandi; Lopez, Mackail-Smith

Sports Mole says: 1-1
