Sports Mole looks at how Germany could line up for their World Cup 2022 qualifier against North Macedonia on Wednesday.

Joachim Low must decide whether to stick with the same starting lineup for a third World Cup 2022 qualifier running when Germany host North Macedonia on Wednesday.

Die Mannschaft saw off Iceland 3-0 in their opening Group J fixture and followed that up with a 1-0 win in Romania at the weekend.

With midfielder Toni Kroos withdrawing from the squad last week, and defender Niklas Sule also absent through injury, Low opted to go with the same XI for both matches.

That could change in midweek, however, with plenty of players pushing inclusion at the MSV-Arena.

Among those who could be in contention to start is Jamal Musiala.

The Bayern Munich youngster made his debut as a substitute against Iceland, having switched allegiance from England, and is now in line for a first start.

Timo Werner is another who will be desperate to get some minutes under his belt ahead of the delayed Euro 2020 tournament, possibly giving Serge Gnabry, the matchwinner versus Romania, a breather.

Amin Younes and Florian Neuhaus are other contenders to come into the XI.

Germany possible starting lineup: Neuer; Klostermann, Ginter, Rudiger, Can; Musiala, Kimmich, Gundogan; Havertz, Werner, Sane
