Sports Mole looks at the individual performances in Galatasaray's 1-1 draw with Anderlecht in the Champions League.

Galatasaray and Anderlecht shared the points as they played to a 1-1 draw in their opening group-stage match in the Champions League this evening.

Dennis Praet gave the Belgians the lead in the first half, but Burak Yilmaz found the back of the net in stoppage time to deny the visitors their first away win in the competition in nine years.

Here Sports Mole takes a closer look at the individual performances in the match:

GALATASARAY

Goal

Fernando Muslera: The Uruguayan goalkeeper had to make a string of saves in the first half to keep the hosts on level terms at half time, and came under pressure again after the break, but he was unable to stop Dennis Praet's low finish which gave Anderlecht the lead. (7/10)

Defence

Alex Telles: With Anderlecht preferring to attack down the opposite flank, the left-back did not have the busiest evening. He did manage to get forward a couple of times, and made a few well-timed blocks in defence before being substituted with just over 10 minutes still to play. (5/10)

Aurelien Chedjou: Chedjou was beaten by the pace of the young Belgian side on several occasions, but ultimately set up the equalising goal in stoppage time to secure the draw with the hosts. (5/10)

Semih Kaya: Kaya's inclusion was in doubt because of a calf injury prior to the match and at times it did look as though he was struggling with his movement, but he did make one vital block midway through the first half to prevent a Frank Acheampong cross reaching Ibrahima Conte. (4/10)

Veysel Sari: Like his defensive colleagues, Veysel seemed overwhelmed by the pace of the Anderlecht attack, and when he did get up front, he wasted what could have been a goal scoring opportunity for Galatasaray with a poor cross into the box. (3/10)

Midfield

Felipe Melo: The Brazilian came closest to scoring for the hosts in the first half but was unable to find the target and had another effort blocked late on, but he was one of the Turkish side's most consistent players going forward. (7/10)

Blerim Dzemaili: The Swiss international was a marked man, finding himself on the receiving end of several fouls, but he kept his cool to prove one of the more creative players of the night for Galatasaray. He did have a number of shots blocked. (7/10)

Selcuk Inan: The under-pressure captain had one of the best chances of the first half with a free kick just outside the box, but could not find the target, and had little impact other than as the taker of free kicks. He was subbed off 20 minutes from full time to boos from the home supporters. (4/10)

Wesley Sneijder: Sneijder was definitely one of the more active players, seemingly involved in every move forward by the hosts, but at times he seemed a little off the pace, being caught offside on several occasions while Galatasaray were in strong positions. (6/10)

Attack

Burak Yilmaz: The striker had a frustrating night for much of the match, seeing a couple of efforts deflected wide while also being caught offside a few times. However, he popped up in the right place at the right time for a clinical finish in stoppage time to score the equaliser. (5/10)

Goran Pandev: Pandev was kept quiet in the first half as Galatasaray struggled to create chances early on, but he proved a greater threat after the break, almost scoring an equaliser shortly after Praet's goal before being substituted with half an hour still to play. (5/10)

Substitutes

Tarik Camdal: The left-back replaced Telles for the final 10 minutes, but saw little action as Galatasaray spent the final minutes desperately pushing for an equaliser. (3/10)

Umut Bulut: The striker replaced midfielder Bulut inside the final 20 minutes as the hosts pushed to get back on level terms, but he failed to test Roef in the Anderlecht goal. (2/10)

Bruma: Arguably Galatasaray's best player of the match, the Portuguese youngster replaced Pandev early in the second half, providing a much-needed burst of pace to the Galatasaray attack. Came close to creating and scoring a goal on several occasions. (8/10)

ANDERLECHT

Goal

Davy Roef: It was a bit of a baptism of fire for 20-year-old Davy Roef as he made his Champions League debut in place of suspended captain Silvio Proto, but he gave a decent account of himself. The Belgian made a string of saves in the second half, and could have done little to stop Yilmaz's point-blank finish in stoppage time. Ultimately, he was let down by his defenders allowing the hosts to continue to attack late on. (7/10)

Defence

Olivier Deschacht: Deschacht had a solid evening's work at the back, making a string of blocks to keep the Galatasaray strikers at bay, and even had a rare shot himself, although his rather tame effort was comfortably saved by Muslera. (7/10)

Andy Najar: Najar proved capable in defence and up front this evening, making a crucial block to halt a powerful Dzemaili effort before forcing a stop from Muslera after the break. (6/10)

Bram Nuytinck: The right-back never really got going, picking up a booking inside the first two minutes before being taken off injured just 23 minutes into the tie. (2/10)

Chancel Mbemba: The defender was kept busy marking Sneijder and Bruma for much of the evening, but he did well to prevent them from putting more pressure on Roef. (7/10)

Midfield

Dennis Praet: Playing just behind the strikers, Praet had not seen a great amount of time on the ball prior to opening the scoring, but his finish to give Anderlecht the lead was superb, before picking up an injury late on while helping out at the back. (6/10)

Steven Defour: One of the more physical players for Anderlecht, the midfielder gave away a number of fouls and got himself booked in the first half, but also won the ball back for the visitors on a number of occasions and kept chasing until the full-time whistle. (6/10)

Frank Acheampong: Acheampong was quick out of the blocks, linking up with Suarez and Conte several times inside the opening 30 minutes while trying to set up an early goal for Anderlecht, almost creating the opener just before the break for the former. (7/10)

Ibrahima Conte: Probably the player of the match for the visitors, Conte was stretching the home defenders from the start with his pace and even dropped back to help out the Anderlecht defender on a couple of occasions. (8/10)

Yoeri Tielemans: At just 17 years old, Tielemans was the youngest player in the pitch this evening, but he did not let inexperience get the better of him, having a few early shots blocked, although he was less involved after the break. (5/10)

Attack

Aleksandar Mitrovic: Mitrovic's impressive footwork kept the ball alive on several occasions as Anderlecht dominated in the first half but he tired after the break and was substituted with over 20 minutes to play. (5/10)

Substitutes

Matias Suarez: Although still short of match fitness after a lengthy absence with a knee ligament injury, Suarez was thrown on early after an injury to Nuytinck and immediately caused problems up front. (8/10)

Leander Dendoncker: The midfielder only played just over 10 minutes, to help set up a chance for the visitors to double their lead shortly before Galatasaray found the equaliser. (6/10)

Sacha Kljestan: The American had been pretty quiet after replacing Mitrovic, and made a costly error while trying to halt the progress as Chedjou, ultimately letting the defender set up the home side's goal in stoppage time. (1/10)
