An early free kick from Bryan Ruiz at Craven Cottage has given Fulham the advantage over Everton at half-time.

Despite starting brightly, Everton were behind after only seven minutes as Ruiz struck a free kick that rebounded off the post before hitting Tim Howard on its way into the net.
The visitors responded well to the early setback and Mark Schwarzer reacted effectively to keep out Marouane Fellaini's low drive just moments after Ruiz's goal.
Fulham looked dangerous on the counter attack throughout the first half and a flowing passing move nearly created a second for the hosts, but Howard was able to block Damien Duff's weak effort.
Everton had chances to level the scores before the break but were again left frustrated by Schwarzer after the Australian pushed away Leon Osman's strike from the edge of the area.
