Newcastle United reportedly plan to move for Copenhagen forward Dame N'Doye if Demba Ba departs Tyneside this summer.

Newcastle United have reportedly identified Senegal international Dame N'Doye as a summer transfer target.

The 27-year-old, who scored 24 goals for Danish side Copenhagen last season, has also attracted interest from Everton.

Magpies boss Alan Pardew will go after N'Doye if his compatriot Demba Ba leaves the Sports Direct Arena this summer, according to the Daily Star.

Pardew does not want to lose Ba, but the club would be powerless to stop him leaving if another team activated his release clause by tabling an offer of £7.5m.

It is believed that N'Doye could be available for around £6m.
