Everton are reportedly interested in signing Celtic youngster Anthony Ralston in the January transfer window.
Ronald Koeman has maintained an interest in the teenager since his breakthrough in the Celtic squad at the end of last season, according to The Sun. Everton scouts are also said to have monitored Ralston during the Toulon Tournament, as well as the defender's performances for Scotland's Under-21s.
The 18-year-old right-back caught the eye on Tuesday night as the Glasgow local went up against Neymar in Celtic's Champions League opening group-stage game against Paris Saint-Germain.
Ralston was praised for his performance and managing of Neymar during the Scottish club's 5-0 defeat to PSG, which represented his first European start.
The Celtic academy player made news following the game, as Neymar appeared to refuse to shake hands with Ralston after the full-time whistle. However, the 18-year-old admitted that he had not offered to shake the Brazilian's hand.
