Everton manager David Moyes could quit his job if Leighton Baines or Marouane Fellaini are sold behind his back, according to reports.

Everton manager David Moyes could quit his job if the club's star players are sold behind his back.

Manchester United have been persistently linked with a move for defender Leighton Baines, while Marouane Fellaini has reportedly attracted interest from Real Madrid.

Moyes has vowed to hold on to the duo, but he is becoming increasingly worried by the speculation regarding their futures and he will seek crisis talks with Toffees chairman Bill Kenwright if either player is sold, according to The Mirror.

The Scot has 12 months remaining on his current contract at Goodison Park.
