England manager Fabio Capello has denied that he is in talks with Inter Milan over becoming head coach for the former Champions League winners.
The 65-year-old, who is rumoured to be stepping down as the Three Lions boss at the end of the 2012 European Championships, has laughed off suggestions that he is in line to replace Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
"Inter Milan have not spoken to me," he told Sky Italy TV. "These are just typical newspaper rumours. The new coach must be allowed more time.
"I don't know [Inter president] Massimo Moratti personally but I get the impression he is a man of football who behaves like a parent when it comes to Inter."
The Italian is an former player for Inter rivals AC Milan as well as previously coaching them during his managerial career.
