David Moyes favourite for Derby County job

A high street bookmaker makes David Moyes a 7-4 shot to replace Paul Clement as the next manager of Derby County.

A leading bookmaker has installed David Moyes as the clear favourite to be appointed the next permanent manager of Derby County.

Academy director Darren Wassall has been placed in interim charge at the iPro Stadium until the end of the season following the decision to sack Paul Clement yesterday evening.

In terms of a permanent replacement, Ladbrokes has priced former Everton and Manchester United boss Moyes as a 7/4 shot.

The 52-year-old has been out of work since November last year when he departed Spanish side Real Sociedad.

Nigel Pearson and Garry Monk are priced at 4-1, while Tim Sherwood and Brendan Rodgers are 6-1.
