Crawley Town and Brighton & Hove Albion have played out a 1-1 draw in their pre-season friendly on Wednesday evening.

The home side took the lead on 15 minutes when former Fulham striker Collins John headed home powerfully from a corner moments after his snapshot was saved by Christian Walton.

Izale McLeod almost made it 2-0 after he beat two defenders, but his close-range shot was well saved by Walton.

However, the visitors were back in it on 72 minutes when Kazenga Lua Lua hammered in a 30-yard free kick.
