Jose Mourinho: 'We can improve without needing to buy Paul Pogba'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho suggests that his side can improve without the need to buy Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that although he admires Paul Pogba his team can improve themselves without him.

Pogba is thought to be on the transfer radars of a number of European clubs, but Mourinho has seemingly ended any idea of a Chelsea bid for the player by insinuating that the Blues can do just fine without the Juventus midfielder.

"I think everybody has an interest in Pogba," said Mourinho, according to the Daily Mail.

"But there are things you can do and things you cannot do. I love the Eiffel Tower but I can't have the Eiffel Tower in my garden. I can't even have the Eiffel Tower of Las Vegas.

"We feel we have the tools to improve our team without that. And the tools are ourselves."

Pogba has so far made 89 appearances in his Juventus career, scoring 20 goals for the Old Lady.
