Chelsea have reportedly decided that they will not entertain any more offers for Callum Hudson-Odoi during the January transfer window.
Hudson-Odoi has come through the academy setup to make 15 first-team appearances for the Blues, but the winger has less than 18 months left on his contract and has allegedly handed in a transfer request.
Bayern Munich have been prepared to spend at least £40m to sign the 18-year-old before the end of the month, but according to Bild, Chelsea will not sell the youngster before the end of the season.
Chelsea will hope that handing the prospect a prolonged spell in the first team will lead to a change of stance from the player and his representatives, although the West Londoners may not be able to demand their current valuation in the summer.
Maurizio Sarri currently has 21 outfield players in his first-team plans but the departure of Hudson-Odoi - as well as the expected exit of Gary Cahill - would have left the Italian short of numbers for what could be a hectic period for the club.
