Crystal Palace have reportedly registered an interest in signing Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.
The 33-year-old has less than six months remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, and the centre-back has been left out of the majority of Maurizio Sarri's squads since the start of 2019.
Fulham are known to be keen on securing a deal for the ex-England international, but according to The Sun, Palace are hoping to win the race for the player's signature.
The report suggests that Palace are looking to secure a loan deal, and that may lead to Scott Dann being allowed to link up with Fulham on a temporary basis.
Dann has not long returned from a long-term injury, and that has restricted the 31-year-old to just one appearance this season.
