West Ham United's Declan Rice is reportedly considering pushing for a move to Chelsea.
Blues boss Frank Lampard is said to be determined to bring the England international back to Stamford Bridge before this summer's transfer window closes on October 5.
West Ham, though, are said to value the defensive midfielder in excess of £70m - a figure that the Chelsea hierarchy are allegedly not prepared to meet in the current market.
According to The Independent, despite having a contract at the London Stadium until June 2024, Rice could attempt to force a move to Stamford Bridge over the next few weeks.
The report claims that the 21-year-old is currently deciding his best course of action and could force his club's hand by signalling a desire to leave.
Rice was released from the Chelsea academy at the age of 14 after seven years with the club.
