AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
Kessie is currently in his second season at San Siro, and the Ivorian has already gone on to score eight times in 71 appearances in all competitions.
However, Milan must make cutbacks in order to comply with FFP regulations, and that leaves open the possibility of Kessie being sold in one of the next two transfer windows.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, both Chelsea and Spurs are monitoring the situation and may be prepared to launch an approach for the player.
The report suggests that Chelsea may hold an advantage, however, with Tiemoue Bakayoko already spending time on loan at Milan for the rest of the campaign.
The Frenchman initially struggled at the Italian side, but Milan could now potentially be interested in putting together a permanent deal for the 24-year-old after he starred in the club's fixtures over the Christmas period.
