AC Milan are reportedly eyeing a cut-price deal for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The player joined Milan on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window, having struggled to settle at Stamford Bridge following a move from Monaco in 2017.
Bakayoko failed to impress in the early stages of the 2018-19 campaign, but his form has improved in recent weeks.
According to Calciomercato, Milan are unlikely to meet Bakayoko's release clause of £31m, but the Italian giants are interested in a permanent deal and will attempt to negotiate a new price with Chelsea.
The report claims that Milan sporting director Leonardo will rely on 'Bakayoko's desire to stay' when attempting to agree a figure with the Premier League club.
Bakayoko has made 13 appearances for Milan in all competitions this season.
