Yesterday's sacking of Andre Villas-Boas could reportedly cost Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich £40m.
The Russian businessman paid FC Porto £13.3m in compensation to buy out the 34-year-old's contract with the Portuguese club.
Prior to that, Abramovich is believed to have given Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff around £10m to end their stay at Stamford Bridge early.
Another £3.5m has gone to Villas-Boas in wages, while the Portuguese boss is expected to receive around £11m in the compensation following his firing.
