Following an uneventful first half, the visitors took the lead on 51 minutes when Ramires rifled his effort into the top corner from the edge of the area.

The Blues nearly doubled their advantage soon after, but Jason Steele tipped Fernando Torres's shot onto the crossbar.

However, the match was settled in the 73rd minute as Victor Moses tapped in from close range following substitute Eden Hazard's pass.
