Chelsea captain John Terry to miss Paris Saint-Germain Champions League clash?

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink reveals that John Terry could miss the Champions League last-16 first leg with PSG having come off injured against Newcastle.

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has hinted that he could be without captain John Terry for the first leg of their clash with Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Terry was forced off in the first half of this evening's 5-1 thrashing of Newcastle United, just two days before their trip to the runaway Ligue 1 leaders.

With Kurt Zouma also sidelined, Chelsea could face a shortage at the back when they visit the Parc des Princes, and Hiddink admitted that Terry may not have enough time to recover.

"Tomorrow we'll know how serious he is. Midweek is already Tuesday and we have just two days to recover," Hiddink told Sky Sports News.

"I think teams need at least three days, but we don't have so we'll see what will be the outcome tomorrow."

Chelsea also take on Manchester City in the fifth round of the FA Cup next weekend.
