Alexandre Pato in, Radamel Falcao out of Chelsea's Champions League squad

Alexandre Pato replaces Radamel Falcao in Chelsea's squad for the upcoming knockout stages of the Champions League.

New signing Alexandre Pato has been included in the Chelsea squad for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The Brazilian striker joined the Blues from Corinthians last week on a six-month loan deal, with the Premier League side having the option to sign him permanently in the summer.

Pato's inclusion has come at the expense of fellow loanee Radamel Falcao, who has struggled for form and fitness since he joined the Londoners from Monaco in August.

The 29-year-old has found the net just once in his 11 outings for Chelsea.

Guus Hiddink's men are due to face Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of Europe's premier club competition.
