Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas' "dream" is to play in the Champions League final at London's Wembley Stadium in 2013.

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has said that it is his "dream" to play in the Champions League final at Wembley this season.

The Blaugrana have won Europe's premier club competition twice in the last four seasons, including at London's Wembley Stadium in 2011.

"To play in the Champions League final at Wembley would be a dream," he told The Sun. "I would love to be there, that would be something very special.

"Special for me because I love London so much and had eight happy years there. But special for Barcelona too because we have very happy memories there."

Fabregas added that he would like to face Chelsea in the final.

"Of course all that matters is that you get there, it shouldn't really matter who you play," said the 25-year-old.

"But in an ideal world it would be great to play Chelsea in the final and get revenge for last season. That would be unbelievable.

"In the last six or seven years Barcelona have had some extraordinary matches against them. Sometimes Barca have won, sometimes Chelsea have won."

Barcelona will begin their Champions League campaign with a home game against Spartak Moscow in Group G on Wednesday.
