Sports Mole looks ahead to the Champions League round-of-16 clash between Celtic and Juventus at Celtic Park.

Celtic will aim to build on their successful Champions League campaign when they take on Juventus at their home ground for the first leg of the round-of-16 clash.

The Bhoys, who secured progression into the knockout rounds after beating Spartak Moscow in Group G, managed to secure a 2-1 victory over tournament favourites Barcelona at Celtic Park during the group phase.

The Scottish Premier League champions will cling onto their record of 21 victories in their last 23 European home matches when they welcome the Old Lady to their ground this evening.

Juventus, who topped Group E and are currently unbeaten in their Champions League campaign, have the advantage of playing the second leg in Turin, which puts added pressure on Celtic to get a good result on home turf.

Bhoys boss Neil Lennon could opt for Gary Hooper up front with Georgios Samaras and James Forrest providing attacking threat from the wide areas, while Juve manager Antonio Conte is expected to welcome back Claudio Marchisio, who has recovered from injury which kept him sidelined for a month.
