Celtic striker Georgios Samaras insists that the club can still overcome Juventus in the Champions League, despite losing the first leg 3-0 at Parkhead.

Celtic striker Georgios Samaras has claimed that the Scottish outfit still have a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Neil Lennon's side suffered a 3-0 defeat to Juventus in the first leg of their last-16 clash at Parkhead last week, but Samaras has said that 'anything can happen'.

"In football you never know what's going to happen. We'll enjoy our game and play against the champions of Italy," he told Sky Sports News.

"It's a great stadium, it will be a full house, it's a Champions League night - I don't see any negative things."

The second leg takes place on March 6.
