Sports Mole looks ahead to Sheffield Wednesday's tough Championship encounter against table-toppers Cardiff City this weekend.

It's a battle between the top and bottom of the Championship table this weekend as Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday go head to head for three points.

Malky Mackay's Cardiff Bluebirds currently sit just one point clear at the top of the standings and the Welsh outfit will be hoping to extend their lead over Crystal Palace, who are lurking over their shoulders.

Meanwhile, Owls boss Dave Jones has struggled in the bottom half of the table with his side and they currently reside second from bottom with 15 points.

Craig Bellamy could keep his place up front alongside Heidar Helguson for Cardiff, while Mamady Sidibe and Jay Bothroyd are likely to be trusted by Jones as Wednesday's main goal threats.
