Watford's dominant second-half performance gives them at 4-1 victory away at Sheffield Wednesday.

Watford came from 1-0 down to beat Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 in the Championship clash at Hillsborough this evening.

The home side took an early lead after just three minutes through Michail Antonio, who powered through the defence and slid the ball past Manuel Almunia.

Watford then took Wednesday by surprise and equalised on 18 minutes through striker Fernando Forestieri.

The Owls almost restored their goal advantage when Chris Kirkland's speculative punt into the opposite area nearly found Jay Bothroyd.

Bothroyd was involved again when he was brought down in the box to earn Wednesday a penalty. Chris Lines stepped up to take the spot kick, but saw it well saved by Almunia.

Watford pressed Wednesday early in the second half and forced Kirkland into two saves.

Kirkland was called upon once more to save Forestieri's stinging shot.

Watford's pressure finally paid off when Alex Geijo headed in at the back post after a free kick delivery from the right.

Troy Deeney made it three for Watford after 74 minutes, finishing off another free kick delivery.

Mark Yeates rounded off a great night for the away side by adding a fourth goal after 83 minutes.

The final whistle blew with the scores at 4-1, confirming all three points for the Hornets.
