Marco Reus: 'Borussia Dortmund always want more'

Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus insists that his can only play at full tilt after thrashing Freiburg 5-0 last weekend.

Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus has insisted that his side never had any intention of taking their foot off the gas against Freiburg last weekend.

Reus opened the scoring as Dortmund thrashed Freiburg 5-0 on Saturday, before adding a penalty just before the interval.

The German international is adamant that easing down with the game won is a thought that never enters into Dortmund's mentality, despite facing a crucial Champions League clash with Marseille in midweek.

He told the Bundesliga's official website: "We just enjoy football. Winning by two or three goals isn't enough for us, we always want to score one more.

"We pressed them high up the pitch right from the start. We kept play as near as possible to their goal and saved a lot of energy in the process. That's our basic approach, and this game was a good example of it.

"You're so focused on the game that that doesn't make much of a difference. It's going to be tough against Marseille one way or the other. But after losing at Napoli, we have to get the three points this time."

Dortmund face a crunch clash with Marseille tomorrow night after losing their Champions League opener at Napoli, with Jurgen Klopp suspended from the touchline.
