Team News: Tommy Spurr makes first Blackburn Rovers start of the season

Blackburn Rovers make four changes for the visit of Blackpool, with Tommy Spurr handed his first start of the campaign.

Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has handed a first start of the season to Tommy Spurr as they host struggling Blackpool in the Championship.

Rovers have made four changes to their side and there are recalls for Jay Spearing, Jordan Rhodes and Alex Baptiste, while Rudy Gestede also starts.

Meanwhile, Peter Clarke captains the rock-bottom Seasiders, while Nathan Delfouneso is forced to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench.
