Blackburn Rovers have kept alive their hopes of reaching the Championship playoffs by coming from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Cardiff City this evening.
Craig Conway had the first effort on goal of the match, but his strike from range flew wide of the post.

Conway was involved again moments later, as his corner was headed over by Rudy Gestede.
The hosts almost took the lead soon after with their first real opening, as Eoin Doyle clipped a shot past the keeper, but Matthew Kilgallon got back to clear the ball off the line.
Blackburn then had a shot of their own cleared from the goal line, as Aron Gunnarsson was alert to block a strike from Joshua King.
At the end of the half a poor clearance from David Marshall almost led to a goal for Gestede, but the keeper got back in time to prevent a goal and ensure that the scores stayed level heading into the break.
Shortly after the break, Gestede and Kenwyne Jones both had chances with headed efforts that went just wide of the target.
Blackburn had another good chance to score when King beat the keeper to Conway's cross, but he could only poke his effort inches wide of the post.
With six minutes left to play Sean Morrison looked to have sealed the win for Cardiff when he headed in from Peter Whittingham's corner.
However, Blackburn rescued a point in the final minute as Gestede slotted home after Chris Brown's effort had been blocked on the line to ensure that the game finished level.
