Manuel Neuer and Mario Mandzukic start for Bayern Munich, with last weekend's match winner Mario Gomez dropping to the bench.

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has restored top scorer Mario Mandzukic to his starting lineup in place of last week's goalscorer Mario Gomez.

Manuel Neuer also returns having missed the win against Hoffenheim, while Dante drops to the bench with Daniel van Buyten coming into the middle of the defence.

Mathis Bolly has been named up top in a Fortuna Dusseldorf lineup lacking in genuine strikers. Winger Robbie Kruse is their highest scorer on the field with four.

Bayern: Neuer; Lahm, Van Buyten, Boateng, Alaba; Gustavo, Kroos; Muller, Schweinsteiger, Ribery; Mandzukic

Dusseldorf: Giefer; Van den Bergh, Balogun, Malezas, Latka; Bellinghausen, Tesche; Lambertz, Bodzek, Kruse; Bolly
