Barcelona have reportedly identified AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli as a possible replacement for Samuel Umtiti.
The injury-plagued Umtiti has struggled to force his way into the Blaugrana team over the likes of Ronald Araujo, Clement Lenglet and Oscar Mingueza, starting just five La Liga games in the 2020-21 campaign.
The World Cup-winning Frenchman is under contract at Camp Nou until 2023, but he is thought to be one of eight players on Barcelona's transfer list as they look to raise funds for summer business.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Ronald Koeman is keen to prioritise a new striker in the upcoming transfer window, but a replacement for Umtiti is also on his wishlist, especially with Eric Garcia's move supposedly in doubt.
The report adds that Romagnoli - also linked with a move to Juventus - is a possible candidate, while Ajax's Lisandro Martinez and Feyenoord's Marcos Senesi are also being tracked by the Blaugrana.
Romagnoli's deal with the Rossoneri expires in less than 18 months' time, and he has turned out 28 times in all competitions this season, bagging one goal and one assist in Serie A.
