Barcelona are reportedly not in the running to sign Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng.
The 32-year-old has again been an important player for the German champions during the 2020-21 campaign, but he will be leaving the Allianz Arena at the end of June when his contract expires.
Available on a free transfer, a recent report claimed that Barca and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs interested in signing the German ahead of next season.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Ronald Koeman's side will not be making an offer for the former Manchester City defender.
The report claims that the emergence of Ronald Araujo and Oscar Mingueza, in addition to the likely arrival of Eric Garcia from Manchester City, means that Boateng is not required at Camp Nou.
The 76-time Germany international has also been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal.
