Dani Alves 'to leave Barcelona for Juventus'

Barcelona right-back Dani Alves will reportedly exercise a clause in his contract to leave the club 12 months early and join Juventus on a free transfer.

Barcelona right-back Dani Alves will reportedly leave the club this summer in order to join Italian champions Juventus.

The 33-year-old is not out of contract at the Camp Nou until June 2017, but Cadena Ser reports that he has come to an agreement which will allow him to terminate the deal early.

That would enable the Brazilian to leave Barca on a free transfer, with the report going on to state that he will sign a three-year deal in Turin.

Other reports suggest that Alves has a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave the club a year early, but only if the deal is done before June 5.

Alves joined Barca in 2008 and has gone on to make 391 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 21 goals.
