Right-back Dani Alves to stay at Barcelona for 2016-17?

A report in Spain says that Brazilian right-back Dani Alves is preparing to spend at least one more season in a Barcelona shirt.

Barcelona will reportedly retain the services of Dani Alves for next season.

The right-back is contracted at Camp Nou until June 2017, but there have been suggestions that Alves would welcome lucrative offers from China this summer.

However, Sport claims that Alves's desire to play for Brazil at the next World Cup in Russia means that he has decided to remain with the Spanish champions for at least one more campaign.

The 33-year-old joined Barca from Sevilla in 2008 and he has gone on to make almost 400 appearances in all competitions.
