Report: Arsenal close to Romulo deal

Arsenal are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to sign Spartak Moscow midfielder Romulo.

Arsenal have reportedly moved closer to completing a deal for Spartak Moscow midfielder Romulo.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to the Emirates for some time, having struggled to secure a regular place in the Russian side.

According to The Express, Romulo is close to agreeing a deal with the Gunners, who were thought to be interested in a swap deal involving Yaya Sanogo earlier this year.

The 24-year-old has earned nine caps for his country.
