Chelsea and Liverpool could reportedly rival Arsenal for the signature of Real Madrid attacker Martin Odegaard during this summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old has impressed for Arsenal since joining the club on loan in January, scoring twice in 12 appearances for Mikel Arteta's side in all competitions.
The Gunners are believed to be keen to sign the Norway international on a permanent deal in the upcoming market, and Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is allegedly ready to allow the attacker to leave.
However, according to the Daily Star, the North London club are fearful that Odegaard's price will rise to £50m this summer due to his strong form at the Emirates Stadium.
The report also claims that Chelsea and Liverpool are keeping a close eye on developments, with the pair considering battling Arsenal for his signature.
Odegaard - also said to be interesting Paris Saint-Germain - has only made 11 first-team appearances for his parent club but has a contract at the Bernabeu until June 2023.
