Arsenal hold a commanding 2-0 lead over Manchester City at half time in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium.
The Gunners enjoyed most of the early possession, and they were rewarded on 21 minutes when Santi Cazorla took advantage of a sleeping City defence to fire the ball into the bottom corner.
Arsene Wenger's side could have made it 2-0 just minutes later, but Yaya Sanogo shot wide when he only had City's debutant goalkeeper Willy Caballero to beat.

Arsenal continued to look the more threatening, with Cazorla seeing an effort deflected wide following a strong run at the City defence.
The resulting corner saw the Premier League champions caught napping once again, though Sanogo only managed to head straight at Caballero.
Manuel Pellegrini's team began to show a bit more attacking intent as the opening half wore on, though Arsenal were a persistent danger on the break.
City had a chance late on when the ball fell to Samir Nasri inside the box, but the former Arsenal midfielder was denied a goal thanks to a last-ditch challenge from Calum Chambers.
However, Arsenal tightened their grip on the game with three minutes remaining in the half, as Aaron Ramsey was picked out by Sangogo before shooting low into the corner.
