Roma have moved another step closer to signing PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman, according to a report in Italy.
The Eredivisie club have repeatedly stated that the 23-year-old is not for sale, but Corriere dello Sport claims that a bid of €20m (£17.3m) has broken their resistance.
It has been reported that Strootman will travel to the Italian capital for a medical tomorrow and could be unveiled in a Giallorossi shirt on Tuesday.
Strootman joined PSV from Utrecht two years ago and has gone on to cement a place in the Netherlands national side, winning 18 caps and scoring one goal.
