The Italian Football Association has launched an inquiry into alleged racist abuse towards AC Milan's Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The 25-year-old walked off the pitch during a friendly at Pro Patia on Thursday having been apparently subjected to offensive chanting by sections of the home crowd.
Boateng's teammates followed him back into the changing room before the match against the lower-league side was abandoned.
Italian FA president Giancarlo Abete has since branded the incident "unspeakable and intolerable" and has promised an immediate investigation.
