Sports Mole previews Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie between West Ham and Manchester United at Upton Park.

West Ham United welcome Manchester United to Upton Park on Saturday in the third round of the FA Cup.

The two sides have a colourful history in the competition, with a previous eight meetings between the pair.

West Ham have won four of those contests, while United have come out on top three times and there has been one draw.

However, the most famous encounter of recent times came in January 2001 when Paolo Di Canio scored the winner at Old Trafford to earn the Hammers a 1-0 win in the fourth round.

James Collins and Kevin Nolan are both available for the hosts following bans, but Andy Carroll and Mohamed Diame remain sidelined through injury.

Michael Carrick, Patrice Evra and Robin van Persie are expected to be rested for the visitors. Meanwhile, Shinji Kagawa could start following his recent return from injury.
