Stephen Gleeson has joined Aberdeen on a free transfer after parting company with Ipswich Town.
The Republic of Ireland international midfielder has signed a two-year contract with the Scottish Premiership outfit.
"I am delighted to bring Stephen's experience to Aberdeen," Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes told the club's official website. "He's exactly the type of player we wanted for that role.
"He's got the qualities to be a very good player, both on and off the pitch and as a club we'll be able to give him what he demands of himself."
Gleeson is Aberdeen's third summer signing following the arrival of Lewis Ferguson and Chris Forrester.
