Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how West Ham United could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Ipswich Town.

West Ham United will be without striker Niclas Fullkrug for Saturday's Premier League clash with Ipswich Town at the London Stadium.

The Germany international is still nursing a calf injury that has kept him sidelined for almost a month, but he is the Hammers' only injury concern at present.

Julen Lopetegui will be boosted by the return of midfielder Edson Alvarez, who missed the 1-1 draw at Brentford last weekend due to suspension, and the Mexican is in line for an immediate recall to the starting lineup.

Alvarez could take the place of Guido Rodriguez in the holding midfield role, while Tomas Soucek - who scored the equaliser against Brentford last time out - will be hoping to continue in an advanced central role next to playmaker Lucas Paqueta.

In the absence of Fullkrug, Michail Antonio is set to lead the line, although Lopetegui may consider handing a start to Danny Ings, while Jarrod Bowen could also be called upon to play down the middle if he is not operating on the right. Mohammed Kudus, meanwhile, should retain his spot on the left.

Jean-Clair Todibo was handed his full Premier League debut last weekend and he may continue his partnership in central defence alongside Max Kilman, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Emerson Palmieri should retain their places at full-backs.

West Ham United possible starting lineup: Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson; Alvarez; Bowen, Soucek, Paqueta, Kudus; Antonio
