Alessandro Alunni Bravi, the departing 'team representative' at Audi-owned Sauber, is being linked with a potential move to the MotoGP paddock, possibly alongside Lewis Hamilton.

On Christmas Eve, reports suggested that Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, might be pursuing a stake in a MotoGP team. While earlier rumours focused on Gresini, it later emerged that Hamilton could instead be in talks with KTM.

Gresini reportedly rejected Hamilton's offer, but KTM—a factory MotoGP team and Austrian motorcycle manufacturer—has been grappling with financial difficulties, with debts reportedly nearing €3 billion.

KTM motorsport director Pit Beirer confirmed last month that "very interesting discussions" had taken place with Hamilton's management. However, Tech3 KTM boss dismissed the speculation as "completely unfounded."

Despite this denial, the rumours persist.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bravi, 50, may be poised to assist KTM in navigating a potential Hamilton-involved era.

Bravi's next career move remains unclear. In Sauber's official statement regarding his departure, it was stated that he is moving on "to a new adventure." Audi F1 boss Mattia Binotto similarly mentioned Bravi's "new venture," while Bravi himself referred to "a new project."

There is also speculation that Bravi could simply switch to another Formula 1 team.

As for Hamilton's potential involvement with KTM, one complication may lie in the factory team's close commercial ties to Red Bull, which could conflict with Hamilton's Ferrari links and his personal sponsorship deal with Monster Energy, a direct competitor of Red Bull.

Beirer addressed the issue to Speed Week: "Anyone who wants to work with us knows how close we are—that Red Bull and KTM are inseparable. That has not been an issue in the negotiations so far."
