Swansea City's Chico Flores accuses West Ham United fans of online abuse

Swansea City's Chico Flores claims that he has been abused online by West Ham United fans following his side's defeat to the Hammers.

Swansea City defender Chico Flores has claimed that he has been subjected to internet abuse by West Ham United fans.

The Spaniard said that he has been hit by a backlash from Hammers fans after being involved in an incident that saw Andy Carroll sent off during the Swans' 2-0 defeat at the Boleyn Ground.

"I'm a bit tired of the strong insults from the West Ham fans. Whoever doesn't see the aggression in that action is blind," Sky Sports News quotes Flores as saying.

"They should be more preoccupied with the ugly way their team play football: always making very long passes and never quick short passing.

"They should be worried about that before caring about such evident things."

West Ham lodged an appeal against Carroll's dismissal, only to have it turned down by the Football Association.
