Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. LASK Linz

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash with LASK Linz.

Tottenham Hotspur switch focus back to the Europa League on Thursday evening with a trip to Austrian outfit LASK Linz.

Spurs have won three and lost one of their opening four Group J matches and can secure a place in the last 32 with one victory in their remaining two games.

Jose Mourinho's men played out a 0-0 draw with Chelsea on Sunday to move back into top spot in the Premier League, but changes can be expected for this trip to Austria.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Possible return date: December 16 (vs. Liverpool)

Toby Alderweireld was injured during Tottenham's recent win over Manchester City. Although the Belgian's groin problem is not as serious as first feared, he will still be out until the start of the festive programme.

Republic of Ireland wing-back Matt Doherty has now missed Tottenham's last three games after testing positive for coronavirus while away on international duty. Doherty was available to play against Chelsea, but Mourinho hinted that the defender is lacking fitness.

Possible return date: December 6 (vs. Arsenal)

Harry Kane did not take part in training on the eve of the match after picking up an unspecified muscle injury. The in-form striker has been ruled out of this game, but should be back available for the huge showdown with Arsenal at the weekend.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Spurs have no players suspended for this penultimate Europa League group match, but Joe Rodon is not eligible as he was not registered in Tottenham's European squad.
