Liverpool's top goalscorers of all time as Mohamed Salah overtakes Billy Liddell with Tottenham brace

Sports Mole runs through Liverpool's top 10 goalscorers of all time, including the likes of Mohamed Salah, Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush.

An astounding nine goals were shared between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool on December 22, 2024, six of which went to Arne Slot's side, and two of which were struck by Mohamed Salah.

The 32-year-old scored one of the more simpler braces he will register in his Premier League career, notching two tap-ins within a few minutes of each other, but they were historic tap-ins at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Indeed, Salah's first of the evening took him onto 228 goals in a Liverpool shirt, the same number that Billy Liddell managed, and his second moved him onto 229, bumping him up one place in the all-time charts.

The Egypt international is now only trailing three other Reds' legends when it comes to goals in all competitions, but as breathtaking as he has been this season, he would need to keep scoring at a remarkable rate for years to come if he is to top this list one day.

To commemmorate Salah's achievement, Sports Mole provides a detailed look at the 10 highest scorers in Liverpool's history.
